There are an infinite number of solutions:
Start with two positive integers: 1 + 26, 2 + 25, 3 + 24 etc
Then try some negative integers: -1 + 28, -2 + 29 , -3 + 30 etc
Next try decimals (tenths): 1.1 + 25.9, 1.2 + 25.8, 1.3 + 25.7 etc
then try decimal (hundredths): 1.01 + 25.99, 1.02 + 25.98, etc
Finally some irrationals: 1+ sqrt(2), 26 - sqrt(2), 1+ sqrt(3), 26 - sqrt(3), etc
The commutative property of addition.
commutative property
The word increase means the problem is addition: 15 + x = 27. Reorder the problem so that it is subtraction: 27 - 15 = x and solve for x. X = 12.
yeah, it's equal. This is an example of the Commutative Property of Addition. Think Commute means moving around. So the 27 can be first, or the 6 first, when adding.
86-27 equals = 59
88 - 27 equals = 61
7x+3y where x=2 and y=9 can be written as (7*2)+(3*9) which can be simplified to (14)+(27), from there it's basic addition.
27 equals 191
9*3 (5*10+4)/2
27 divided by 3 equals 9. 27 divided by 9 equals 3.
5
9 times 27 equals 243.
