There are an infinite number of fractions greater than 1/2.

Examples are 3/4, 7/8, 5/9, etc.

The only requirement is that the denominator is less than double the numerator.

Well, honey, any fraction with a numerator greater than its denominator is greater than a half. So, that means fractions like 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, and so on are all strutting their stuff above that half line. Just remember, the bigger the top number, the more fabulous the fraction!
