If this is a multiplication problem... 100 x 8 is almost like 1 x 8 (except with the extra 0s)
But what is 1 x 8 ... 8.
What is 10 x 8 .... add an extra zero the previous answer ... it's 80.
Now what is 100 x 8... add two more zeroes from the 1st answer ... and it's 800.
When you multiply a number by 100, 1000, 1000000, just see the question as in it's basic form ... subtract the zero (like 1 x 8) and add the zeroes at the end.
Your question does not make sense. There's this handy thing known as the space bar, it's quite useful.
One way to divide 0.12 by 8 is to write .12 as a fraction. It is 12/100. Now to divide 12/100 by 8 is the same as multiplying 12/100 by 1/8. This is 12x1/100x8=12/800 or3/200. As a decimal this is .015. We can see this by dividing 3 and 200 both by 2 and we have 1.5/100 which is 15/1000.
Any number or does it equal to something?lets just use random numbers for this(1x8)-20=-12(2x8)-20=-4(3x8)-20=4(4x8)-20=12do you noice a pattern. The formula for this would be 8n-20. The numbers are also always 8 apart so if you needed to work out 100 and 99(100x8)-20=720(99x8)-20=712
well being a two story home not knowing exact size i would tell you bout 20-25 gallons without ceilings go to affordablepainters.biz to get a quote Figure basically 300 Sq Ft per gallon. This will change depending on how porous the siding is and how many coats you are applying. Paint companies recommend two coats for a first rate job. You may be over or under depending but this is a good rule of thumb. Same for the trim.
