6,730 meters in 6.73 km.
1 km = 1,000 m
2 km = 2,000 m
3 km = 3,000 km
.
.
6 km = 6,000 m
6.73 km = 6,730 m
I am a little confused over the answer above. I know that you most likely are correct,
assuming that you mean that 6730 meters equals 6,73 km, but seeing as different
cultures write out numbers differently,(some cultures use "," and "." to mark where
the decimals start), I wanted to clear it out that it is six thousand seven hundred
and thirty (6730) meters, and not only 6.730 meters.
You interpret my notation correctly. In my contributions, and I notice on this site
in general, the point " . " separates between the whole number and the decimal
portion of mixed numbers, and the comma " , " marks off the periods of three
powers of 10 in large numbers.
The simplest way to have answered the original question would have been
to point out that where units of measure are involved, the prefix ' k ', for 'kilo',
almost always means 'one thousand' ( 1,000 ).
1 kilometer = 1,000 meters
6 kilometers = 6,000 meters
6.73 kilometers = 6.73 thousand meters = 6 thousand 7 hundred 30 meters
1,000 m = 1 km 2,000 m = 2 km 3,000 m = 3 km . . . 9,000 m = 9 km
2 km to 123 m = 2000 m to 123 m = 2000 to 1232 km to 123 m = 2000 m to 123 m = 2000 to 1232 km to 123 m = 2000 m to 123 m = 2000 to 1232 km to 123 m = 2000 m to 123 m = 2000 to 123
Yes. 1 km = 1000 m 5000 m (5 km) > 1000 m

1000 m = 1 km so 4500 m = 4.5 km. Simple!
1 km = 1,000 m 2 km = 2,000 m 3 km = 3,000 m . . . 51 km = 51,000 m 51.42 km = 51,420 m
1,000 m = 1 km 2,000 m = 2 km 3,000 m = 3 km 6,000 m = 6 km 9,000 m = 9 km.
5 KM and 600 m
Svalbard is 61 022 km², or 23 561 mi². The biggest island is Spitsbergen with its 37 673 km².
1,000 m = 1 km 2,000 m = 2 km 3,000 m = 3 km . . . 9,000 m = 9 km
1,000 m = 1 km 25,000 m = 25 km
1 km = 1000 m (definition) So, 1 = 0.001 [km / m] 120 [m] = 120 [m] * 1 = 120 [m] * 0.001 [km / m] = 0.12 [km]
there are 1000 metres in a km which is the same as there are 1000 m in a km
Olympic distances are 100 m (0,1 km), 200 m (0,2 km), 400 m (0,4 km), 800 m (O,8 km), 1500 m (1,5 km), 5 000 m (5 km), 10 000 m (10 km), 42,195 km.
There are 1000 m per km, or .001 km per m. 1900m = 1.9 km.
1000 m = 1 km, 24,000 m = 24 km.
1,000 m = 1.000 km 123 m = 0.123 km
