What scope is better 3-9X40 or 4X32?

The 3-9x40 scope offers more versatility compared to the 4x32 scope, as it provides adjustable magnification from 3x to 9x, allowing shooters to adapt to different distances and conditions. The 40mm objective lens of the 3-9x40 also allows for better light transmission and clarity in low-light situations. In contrast, the fixed 4x32 scope is simpler and may be more durable, but it lacks the flexibility for varying distances. Ultimately, the choice depends on the intended use and preference for versatility versus simplicity.
