Passion involves powerful feelings that become obvious in romance, physical attraction, and strong desire to become sexually involved. Intimacy is less "intense" and is reflected in the desire to feel close and conected and to form a meaningful bond. "Commitment" is associated with a time scale. On the one hand it involvesa purposeful decision to love another in the present, but it also entails a strong desire to maintain that love over a long period of time.
