A median in math is when you take all of the numbers that you have and put in order(least to greatest). Then you cross from the left then the right then the left then the right and so on. But if there is two numbers in the middle, you need to find the number that is between those to.If there is two middle number and they are the same you keep the same.
BELOW ARE SOME EXAMPLES:
EXAMPLE:
7,5,2,6,8,5,9
PUT THEM IN ORDER
2,5,5,6,7,8,9
NOW YOU CROSS THEM OUT
x2,x5,x5 ,6, 7x,8x,9x
ANSWER
6
EXAMPLE WITH TWO NUMBERS IN THE MIDDLE
2,5,5,6,7,7,8,9
CROSS THEM OUT
X2,X5,X5,6, 7,7X,8X,9X
MIDDLE NUMBERS
6 & 7
BETWEEN 6 AND 7 IS 6.5
ANSWER
6.5
EXAMPLE:
2,5,5,6,6,6,7,8,9
PUT THEM IN ORDER AND CROSS THEM OUT
x2,x5,x5,x6,6,6,6x,7x,8x,9x
MIDDLE NUMBERS
6 AND 6
ANSWER
6
HOPE THIS HELPS!!(:
add all the numbers then divide by how many number you have!!
Answers down there. range: add the numbers all up and divide how many numbers you have. meadian: put all the numbers in order from smallest to biggest, then find the one in the middle. mean: the biggest minus the smallest. first line up all the numbers in least to greatest.Example: 61,64,73,79,83. Then cross the first and last numbers off. Example: 61,64,73,79,83. Do this until you have one or two numbers left.Example:61,64,73,79,83. If you have one number left that number is the meadian. But if you have two numbers you must add them together and divde by 2 to get the median.
middle value in a set of values 1,12,34,58,45,56,32,12 or them least to greatest first then cross them out first, last 1,12,12,32,34,45,56,58 median: 31 if you can't find the median subtract the higher number from the lower one
If You Have Numbers: 2,2,2,5,5,7,7,8,11 You Add All Of The Numbers: 2+2+2+5+5+7+7+8+11=49 Then You Divide (Hint: Count How Much Numbers You Have In The Set Of Numbers) Then Divide By How Much Numbers You Counted: 49 Divided By 9 = 5.4444444 And So On So The Meadian Is 5.4444444 And So On That Is How You Get The Meadian In A Set Of Numbers* * * * * The above answer is totally incorrect. It gives the method for finding the MEAN which is not the MEDIAN. To find the median, put the numbers in ascending order and then find the middle one. If there are an even number of values, find the average (mean) of the middle two. So for the above example, there are 9 numbers so the middle one is the 5th. So the median is the 5th number = 5. f there was another 11, there would be 10 numbers and the median would be the average of the 5th and 6th numbers = (5+7)/2 = 6
Meadian means middle.
In math today we learned about mean, meadian, and mode!
don't know
When you list the numbers given in order the one in the middle is the meadian, ex; 1,4,7,66,78 so 7 is the median.
add all the numbers then divide by how many number you have!!
Mean.

The United States Meadian for Substance Abuse Counselors is $35,580 (yearly)
Median age: total: 37.5 yearsmale: 36.8 yearsfemale: 38.3 years (2010 est.)
Median. The reason: It disregards the highest and lowest times.
New Square, New York has an average meadian age of 14 years old...
