a square number is an answer given by 2 numbers that are the same

for example: square numbers between 20-50 would be 25, 36 and 49 because

5x5: 25

6x6: 36

7x7: 49

Therefore they are the only numbers that have 2 of the same numbers multiply.

I tried to explain that as best as possible although it may be very confusing

The square numbers between 40 and 70 are 49 (7^2) and 64 (8^2). A square number is the result of multiplying an integer by itself, so in this case, 7 multiplied by 7 equals 49 and 8 multiplied by 8 equals 64. These are the only square numbers within the range specified.

Well, honey, a square number is just a number that you get when you multiply a number by itself. So, between 40 and 70, the square numbers are 49 (7 x 7) and 64 (8 x 8). Hope that clears things up for ya!
