Time comes into picture only if there is a change. Actaully there is nothing called time but it used for convenince to calculate the change in a object. If the object doesn't change at all, then the time is of no use. So there is a meaning for infinite amount of time. Before creation started, there was no meaning for time probably there was no dynamic objects created by God. Since God started the creation, time came into being.
It would take an infinite amount of time, no matter how fast you count. (If you had an infinite amount of time, however, you could count to an infinitely large number, but that would required counting until the end of forever, and forever has no end...)
