I can. As an exercise in Mental Arithmetic it took me about 5 seconds to work out. But I'm not going to tell you because I think it's someone's homework question!
I'll give you some clues. Carry out both divisions and sum their answers. You can do them from your learnt times-tables, and all the numbers are integers.
6/30 + 10/30 = 16/30 or 8/15
one-sixth plus two-fifths is changed to 5/30 plus 12/30 because you must find the common denominator then add them. So the answer is 17/30 which is as low as it will go.2/5 + 1/6 = 12/30 + 5/30 = 17/30
One-fifth of 150 can be calculated by dividing 150 by 5, as one-fifth represents one part out of five equal parts. Therefore, one-fifth of 150 is 30. This can be calculated by dividing 150 by 5, which equals 30.
30
The answer is $30002/5+1/6=12/30+5/30=17/30 spent30/30-17/30=13/30 left1300/(13/30)=1300*30/13=3000
23/30
24/30 - 5/30 = 19/30
6/30 + 10/30 = 16/30 or 8/15
1/6 x 1/5 is 1/30.
7/6 x 2/5 = 14/30 = 7/15 is the answer for seven sixths times two fifth 1/6 x 2/5 = 2/30 = 1/15 is the answer for one sixth times two fifth
11/30
It is: 5/6 divided by 1/6 = 30/6 => 5
One sixth of 30 minutes would be 5 minutes.
one-sixth plus two-fifths is changed to 5/30 plus 12/30 because you must find the common denominator then add them. So the answer is 17/30 which is as low as it will go.2/5 + 1/6 = 12/30 + 5/30 = 17/30
5 1/5 - 1 5/6 = 5 6/30 - 1 25/30 = 4 36/30 - 1 25/30 = 3 11/30
One fifth of 30 is 6
one sixth is 1/6. this as a decimal is .16666666etc. this as a present is 16.66666 %. One sixth of 30 would be approximately 16.66%.
