Its area is: 20.0 times 15.0 = 300.0 square cm
If it is trapezoidal, then its area=length*.5*(sum of bases). The area is therefore 40*.5*(20+12)=640 sq. ft.
Dimensions are 28'' wide, 45" tall, and 60" long for a 275 gallon fuel tank.

It depends on what kind of tank! The Challenger II tank, used by the British Army is 350 cm wide. My toilet tank is 38 cm wide.
Don't know. Can't tell. What size bottom ? Round or square ? How long ? How wide ? How deep ?

what is the perimeter and area of a rectangle 3cm long and 3cm wide
Ummm no it takes 12365478109.432689hours
I wonder if it might be 285 gallons!
If it's rectangular, then the area of the water's surface is (9' x 18') = 162 square feet. The bottom of the pool has a different area if it's slanted.

The capacity of the tank is 12.468 gallons (rounded) for each inch the tank is long.
Well that depends on what you mean. In a water tank the typical measurement of concern is volume, in this case cubic feet. To calculate volume of a rectangular prism, (say, a tank) you multiply length by width by height, or:530 ft L X 165 ft W X 29 ft H = 2,536,050 cubic ft!If you're looking for area of the bottom of the tank, this is measured in square feet. To determine the area of a rectangle you multiply base times height, or:530 ft X 165 ft = 87,450 square ft.
If a rectangle measures 7ft wide by 37ft long, then the area is 7 x 37 = 259 sq ft.
There is a good chance you have a 50 gallon tank there.
