To calculate the speed of the sailboat, you would use the formula: speed = distance/time. In this case, the distance is 150 meters and the time is 120 seconds. Plugging these values into the formula, you get: speed = 150 meters / 120 seconds = 1.25 meters per second. Therefore, the speed of the sailboat is 1.25 meters per second.
Simply remember this triangleD-----------S x TThe D represents DistanceThe S represents SpeedThe T represents TimeDistance divided by Time = Speed. (120 miles divided by 2 hours = 60 mph)Distance divided by Speed = Time. (120 miles divided by 60 mph = 2 hours)Speed multiplied by Time = Distance. (60 mph x 2 hours = 120 miles)
Its speed is 120 kilometers per hour.

The speed of most cars today is limited by the computer, no matter what the speedometer says. My car's speedometer lists 140, but it actuality 120 is the top speed as the limiter kicks in and controls the speed by way of a fuel shut off.
Well the speedometer usually reads about 80 to 85 on some models but on others it reads about 100 but I'm sure you can get one up to about 120 or 130. There more about power than speed.
Between 80mph and 120 mph, high performance cars were usually between a top speed of 100 to 140.
It depends on what Fiero SE you own. There are two types. The earlier SE models, '84-'86, used a 85 mph speedometer for the four cylinder engine. It would not be until the '87 V6 model that the SE cars received the 120 mph "GT", as it's called, speedometer assembly. If you already have a 120 mph speedometer in your Fiero SE, it will work just fine. If it's the 85 mph speedometer, it will not, and would read incorrectly until you perform the necessary modifications to make it act like a 120 mph speedometer should.
yes and no.it will fit but if the 2002 grand am is an se model then the speedometer only reads out to 120 MPH the GT version reads out to 150 MPH.im pretty sure it will read correctly ethier way since they are controlled electronicially but im not 100% sure.plus your not gonna be able to go over 120 anyways in the GT unless u reprogram the computer.the se shutsdown at 107-108 MPH.
120 Km/h
The speedometer in any vehicle does not stop a car from going faster, which many cars can go much faster than the speedometers highest number. Sometimes vehicles are limited from the factory to achieve a speed lower than that on the speedometer like my 2006 silverado says 120 but does only 99. However your truck can go faster than 85 mph.
You didn't tell us quite enough information. Top speed depends quite a bit on which engine and transmission your car has as well as how well the engine runs. The speedometer in these cars only goes to 85 MPH, but a good running car will easily run faster than that. We have a 1986 Chevy Celebrity with the 2.8L V6 and automatic overdrive transaxle and a very rare cop car speedometer which goes to 120 MPH. Somewhere we have a picture of the speedometer at 107 MPH.
The Taurus is electonically limited to a top speed of around 105-107 mph. (Not always true! Ive put my dad's 2003 or 2004 up to the 120 mark, and it kept on accelerating, but speedometer didnt go higher.)
they top out at 198. no you can Barry the speedometer at about 100 to 120
