To multiply a whole number by 100, add two zeros to the right. For example, 54 x 100 = 5400. To multiply any decimal number by 100, move the decimal point two positions to the right. For example, 4.1178 x 100 = 411.78, and 4.9 x 100 = 490. Note that in the last example I filled out missing digits with zero. Also note that 490 is the same as 490.0, so you can assume that in 490 there is an implicit decimal point to the right of the number.

If you have 1000 100s of something, that is the same as multiplying 1000 by 100, which is 100,000.
2550
It equals 66,000. Whenever multiplying 10, 100, 1000, etc. all you need to do is add the number of zeros in your multiplier (in your case, 100, so 2 zeros) to whatever you're multiplying. So, in 660 x 100 you take the 2 zeros from 100 and add them to the end of 660.

2,700When multiplying by 100 just take the zero's off of the 100 and add them to the number you are multiplying. 27 becomes 2700 in this example.
Multiplying and dividing by 100, we get 4.76 = 4.76x100/100 = 476/100.
Adding: 100+44 Multiplying: 12*12

It is: 32.7% by multiplying it by 100
By multiplying it by 100 it is 28.1%
by multiplying 35/100 by 100 35/100 x 100 =35%

If you have 1000 100s of something, that is the same as multiplying 1000 by 100, which is 100,000.
Multiplying by 100 is easier. Just move the decimal point two places to the right.
