The diameter is a straight line from one side os the circle, through the centre point, to the opposite side of the circle.

The radius is a straight line from one side of the circle to the centre point only.

So Two radii add to make one diameter.

Hence algebrauically,

d = 2r

If d = 0.75

Then

r = 0.75/ 2

r = 0.375
