[(3/8)(3/2)]/[(2/3)(3/2])]=(3/8)(3/2)=9/16 since (2/3)(3/2)=1.

Note that (9/16)=(3/4)2 and (0.75)2=0.5625=9/16.

Another way..

I was taught to invert the second fraction and change the function to multiplication

(3/8)/(2/3) becomes 3/8x3/2 =9/16 3x3=9 8x2=16
