When a number is followed by an exponent:

25

nth Root

When a root is preceded by a raised number:

root5(32)

Switching from one to the other

root5(32) can be rewritten as (32)1/5 and vise versa.

321/5 is the exact same thing as 25

So, since you wanted to know x5=3125

The only way to get "x" on its own is to "5th root" both sides of the equation.

so:

x= root5(3125)

x=5

55=3125

You could just plug in "root5(3125)" into a calculator.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
