Abraham de Moivre was a French Mathematician (1667-1754).He was a protestant and came to London.His contribution to mathematics was in the mathematical branch in Statistics and derived (De Moivre's theorm)- the poisson distribution and hypergeometrical distributions on statistics,the derivation of probability density function of the normal distribution distribution in statistical analysis.
