The commutative or Abelian property.
It is not possible to find out the average of a number without knowing how many numbers were added together to get said number. If there were say, 7 numbers added together to get the total of 27.352, then you would divide 27.352 by 7 to get the average.
Commutative property
Addition and multiplication are commutative. That's the property you're looking for.

The property that allows you to change the grouping of addends without changing the sum is called the associative property of addition. It states that you can regroup numbers being added or multiplied without affecting the final result.
That usually means that you change the parentheses, when several numbers are added, or multiplied. For example, (1 + 2) + 3 = 1 + (2 + 3)
You can add any one-digit number from 0 to 9 to 26 if you regroup. For example, adding 5 gives 31, which can be regrouped to 3 tens and 1 unit. Similarly, adding 7 gives 33, which can be regrouped to 3 tens and 3 units. Essentially, any one-digit number can be added to 26, as regrouping allows for combinations that exceed the base of ten.

additive numbers are numbers that are added together
The property that states the order in which numbers are added does not change the sum is known as the Commutative Property of Addition. This means that for any two numbers (a) and (b), the equation (a + b = b + a) holds true. This property allows for flexibility in how numbers can be grouped and rearranged in addition without affecting the final result.
