They have equal priority and are evaluated left to right.

In fact, the US PEMDAS puts multiplication first whereas the UK BIDMAS puts division first. The only way to reconcile the two is equal priority.

Why is it we don't have any properties of subtraction and division?

Because subtraction is addition and division is multiplication. So, subtraction would fall under the properties of addition and division would come under the properties of multiplication.

Does multiplication always comes before division?

Multiplication and division are performed with equal precedence in mathematical operations, meaning they are evaluated from left to right based on their order in an expression. Therefore, multiplication does not always come before division; it depends on the specific arrangement of the terms in the equation. For example, in the expression ( 8 \div 4 \times 2 ), division is performed first, resulting in ( 2 \times 2 = 4 ).

How is multiplication is related by division?

Multiplication is the inverse operation to division.

Opposite to multiplication?

Is this asking for what the opposite of multiplication is? Division..?

Is multiplication before division in order of operations?

"Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, and Addition and Subtraction." Therefore multiplication and division are equal.

How do you Relate Division to Multiplication?

Division is the inverse operation to multiplication. Division by a number (other than zero) is the same as multiplication by its reciprocal.

Which arithmetic operation will performed first if there is Multiplication and division in a formula with no parentheses?

In an expression with both multiplication and division and no parentheses, the operations are performed from left to right. This means that if multiplication comes before division, it will be executed first, and vice versa. Essentially, the order in which these operations appear in the expression determines their sequence of execution.
