Well...my nose is that big, and looks pretty normal. It really just depends on your face. I'm sure it looks fine :)

A yard was defined by Henry I of England as the distance from his nose to the tip of his outstretched thumb. A foot was one third of a yard.

Generic means that both Tail and Nose are identicle. Measuring with your thumb and ring finger outstretched from the bolts is a sure way to find out.
King Henry 1 (1069-1135) decreed the measurement to be from the tip of his nose to the thumb of his outstretched arm. Prior to that it was the length of a mans belt or girdle
36 inches = 3 feet = 1 yard ~= distance between the nose and fingertips of the outstretched arm of a man.
The distance from your nose to your outstretched middle finger is approximately one meter. Also, it is not only one half of your total armspan, but also one half of your total height, approximately. The metric system is a coherent system built on measuring fundamental properties of nature. For instance, the meter is 1/10,000 the distance from the equator to the poles, one liter is a cubic decimeter, and one calorie is the amount of energy to raise one gram of water one degree Celsius which is itself 1/100th of the temperature difference between the boiling and freezing points of water. The English system bases its measures on more prosaic things such as the distance from the nose to the end of the middle finger being 1 yard, the inch being the length of the last segment of the thumb the, foot being the length of a man's shoe and the mile being 1000 paces (mille pes).
King Henry I defined the English measure "inch" as the distance from his nose to his thumb when fully extended. This became the basis for the inch measurement still used today in the United States and other countries.
Doing nothing -- Standing around with your thumb up your nose.
No, usually a person's thumb is shorter than their nose. The nose is typically longer than the thumb.
Oh, dude, that's an easy one! King Henry I defined the English measure of a yard as the distance from his nose to his thumb. I mean, who needs a ruler when you've got a king with a big schnoz, am I right? Like, way to set the standard, Henry!
That would be a yard. Usually, though, a yard was measured from nose to fingertips. Henry must have been quite big.
