It does.
But 100 cm squared - ie a square with each side of 100 cm has an area of (100 cm)2 = 100 cm * 100 cm, which is 10,000 square cm.
This is quite a common confusion caused by the use of measures of area in the form cm squared and square cm. Incidentally, this has absolutely nothing to do with metric or Imperial measures.
100cm = 1m 1 meter
6.9 m = 6.9m * 1m/1m = 6.9m * 100cm/1m = 6.9 * 100cm = 690 cm
100cm = 1m 1cm = 1m/100 472cm/100cm/m = 4.72m
You multiply 1cm by 100cm to get 1m, therefore 100cm=1m
1m = 100cm Therefore 1m x 1m = 100cm x 100cm. So on metre squared is equal to 10 000 centimetres squared.
1m = 100cm 890m = 89000cm
yes it is 1m is 100cm
1m = 100cm 1m2 = 1m x 1m = 100cm x 100cm = 10000cm2
100cm = 1m 1 m = 100 cm
1m = 100cm 990cm/100cm/m = 9.9m 9.9m > 1m, so 990cm > 1m
800 centimeters is equal to 8 meters. To convert centimeters to meters, you divide the number of centimeters by 100.
1m = 100cm 25cm x (1m/100cm) = 0.25m
