The number 12 is important because, without the number 12, two odd numbers would be right next to each other and it wouldn't be right, because it wold go 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18... and that won't be right cause there Will be one less even number so starting at 11 you would do 11/1=11 then 13/1=13 instead of 12/2=6.
