You could have moisture and contaminants built up in the line or sensor to the warning system. (or it's all frozen if in the winter) Can you hear any air leaks? Is the gauge accurate or is it frozen at a higher reading, does it bleed down fast?

Some trucks may not go out until near 70 or 80 pounds it just depends on the system. The main safety issue is the bleed off reading, 60 pounds is the LOWEST pressure the buzzer/lights are supposed to come on.
