This is how four is the magic number.
See if you can figure out the pattern: 82 is to 9, and 9 is to 4. Or... 6 is to 3, and 3 is to 4. Or... 71 is to 10, and 10 is to 3, and 3 is to 4.
Catching on? Here's a hint: count the number of letters when you spell out the numbers. E-i-g-h-t-y t-w-o is 9 letters. N-i-n-e is 4 letters. No matter where you start, if you keep going like that, the result will always be four.
Cool huh? It's an awesome trick-- teach it to your friends. :)

A bed has a single foot, (at the foot of the bed), and four legs, like table legs.bed or table
In Scene Four of Act 1, he has attended the party at Capulet's place, just offstage. In Scene Four of Act 2, he has sent a letter to Romeo's house. In Scene Four of Acts 3 and 4 he has managed to get himself killed sometime earlier (actually in Scene 1 of Act 3). There is no Act 5 Scene 4. Please specify both Act and Scene. To give the scene number without saying which act is like saying "He lives at number 68" without saying which street--absolutely useless.
Because the box said "Four To Six Years" I am not sure how this is funny, but I guess people have to make living some way or another. I had this riddle/joke on my math paper and I was having some trouble with the directions. They confused me. My mom finally told me, and I found out the answer. Hope this helps!
