by getting surgery or learning to keep it perfect I was not born with good feet but now people tell me that they want my feet. This is how I did it. I was really bored one summer so all I did the whole summer long was sit, watch TV and point my feet. I put the top part of my arch under a piece of furniture and straightened my legs. I would get my sisters to physically point my feet for me. I also physically tried to arch my feet with my hands. ^^ that is really bad for your feet, I wouldn't suggest that. If you want to have perfect feet, and do pointe... too bad. I have tried everything. I have good arches and everything, but my nails are always getting chipped and your toes are always getting squished. << But in the dance world, when they say "perfect feet," they mean the way the feet point, bend, flex and whathaveyou. The foot work, not the feet themselves. There are women all over the ballet world who do this. Many talk of "perfect feet." The feet of ladies in this field are notoriously deformed---calluses, blisters, boils, warts, damaged nails, athlete's foot, bunions, and on and on and on. Good feet mean high arches, high insteps, long feet, long and wide toes. You get the idea. These feet are best designed for dance. As for how to improve your feet---There's surgery on the foot (will help early on, but in the long run...), there's wearing arch supports, as much foot flexing exercises as possible. And yeah, I would recommend that 24-7 foot exercising mentioned in the above paragraph. Remember---nothing is written in stone. Margot Fonteyn wasn't born with great feet and neither did Rudoplh Nureyev or Gelsey Kirkland. Make your own gifts.
