There can be no conversion.

A linear foot is a measure of length in 1-dimensional space while a square foot is a measure of area in 2-dimensional space. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, any attempt at conversion from one to the other is fundamentally flawed.

16000 linear feet could be a microscopically thin line which is 16000 feet long. It need not occupy any area at all.

If the parcel of land is a square and the perimeter is 16,000 feet, then the area would be 367.3 acres.
