If you red the question carefully, you can see that it clearly says ALL BUT 7. So, 12 sheep died, leaving 7 left.
i think its uhhhh 35
Definitely 4 options:
a) all are left ← this option is stupid, if some died, how are all of them left?
b) all die ← they clearly said that some die, but some are left, so all can't die this option is stupid too
c) 7 are left ← → this is your golden answer, if you can use your eyes and read properly, then well done. The question said 'ALL' die, and 7 are left. They literally answered their own question in the question. this isn't so stupid
d) 12 are left ← Just learn to read properly and don't get tricked some people may think this is stupid
SO YOU CLEARLY UNDERSTAND AND CANT DISAGREE THAT THERE ARE 7 STUPID SHEEP LEFT!
In this question there are 19 sheep and as he says all but 7 means 12 sheep dies but still now their bodies are there so the farmer have 19 sheep still now. in question it is also not asked how many are alive or how many are dead ?
re read the Fudging question, I don't want to take any chances they can't remove my account for the word Fudging , it SAYS THERE ARE 7 LEFT YOU , IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE THEN YOU HAVE 5 EXTRA CROMISONES , THERE ARE SEVEN LEFT, more importantly how did 12 die, GOTTA EAT 1 WAY OR ANOTHER
There are SO MANY stupid people out there that cant answer this question.. or they add inferences to the question. The question is the question. Very simple. There is nothing more you need to know. The answer is 0. That's right 0. Now the smart people are thinking I'm stupid too, but 0 is the answer to my question. 0 is how many brain cells they have functioning. One person actually said the farmer was dead! What the heck does that have to do with the number of sheep? What the heck kinda drugs is he on? Another person was smart enough to consider the "past tense" of "HAD" sheep, but then was too stupid to realize it doesn't matter either lol. It doesn't matter whether the farmer HAD the sheep or still HAS them! They're just asking you how many (sheep) are left!! This isn't a trick question so deep as past or present tense, its just a funny little question to make you think a little. NOT to make you infer that the farmer is dead for Godsakes or that the farmer once had sheep and sold them so he technically has no sheep but at one point he did have them, and the question was asked during when he already sold them! Like who on Gods green earth is answering these questions online? How much education or common sense do they have? I read the responses for about 2 minutes before shaking my head in disbelief and complete disgust at how stupid people are nowadays to think they needed to answer the question because they thought they new the answer. I felt compelled to write this because of my sheer disbelief in how stupid people really are. I'm a former teacher at neuroscience lab center for the academy of education for the scientists at NASA laboratories in Cape Canaveral FL. If you believe that, I'll tell you another one. I'm the farmer with the sheep.
It depends on what the question means.
a) If the question means 'all BUT 7 die' and the meaning of 'how many sheep are left' is 'how many sheep are alive', then the answer is 7.
b) But if the question means 'all BUT 7 die' and the meaning of 'how many sheep are left' is 'how many sheep does the farmer still have', then the answer is all of them are still there, it's just that some of them are dead.
ALL DIED but 7. So the farmer died too if 7 sheep are left. HOWEVER, if the farmer did not die, then only 6 sheep are left.
15 left.
9 live and the rest die look at the question carefully and you'll find the answer.
9.
nine because all but nine died
Seven.
the farmer had 15 animals in the farm, and if all but 9 sheep died then 9 sheep would be left, equaling 9 animals in total.
None , because it was quoted in the question ' A farmer " had" 25 sheep '
8
8
9.If a farmer had 17 sheep in total, and all but nine died, then the answer to this riddle would be nine, since it states that all but nine have perished. It does not state that "nine died" because it has the key word "but" in it - that will often throw the riddled person off if he or she is not listening to the riddler, thinking that nine died, not eight, which is what occurred.
The farmer has eight cows, since all but that many died.
9,000!
