when you play a level, you have to jump at the right timing. when you build a level, you decide where the objects go.

In a way it does, but not in geometry. Many of the vehicles have a specific function that they follow when used, such as the cube, which has an arc pattern that it follows. The best way to observe these functions is to open editor mode with the grid, play in editor mode with the vehicles, and you'll see that their functions are consistent. The factor of speed horizontally stretches the path of the function the vehicles use.

The cube follows an arc pattern(quadratic)

The ship follows an exponential function that's based on how long the fly button has been held down.

The ball also follows an exponential function that starts from the point of click.

UFO is also quadratic.

The wave is linear which switches from positive to negative function based on whether the button is held down or not.

Robot is a quadratic as well.

Spider isn't really a function as it just teleports and swaps gravity

The gravity portals switch the direction of where the path of the icon faces. The time portals do the same, except horizontally. jump pads and orbs have a function path applied to the icon based on the color.

With the path of where the cube travels depends on the vehicle, speed, and the factors listed above, I doubt it would actually affect your skill in geometry as it's mostly just algebra and functions that are used in the game, let alone I doubt anyone really focuses or cares about these mechanics of the game. People usually only focus on the levels and gameplay, but if you wanted to argue it does help with geometry go ahead, you probably won't win the discussion.
