36x24 what value? inches, feet, yards, miles, metres, centimetres, millimetres? It's impossible to answer in that context.
If you only mean 36x24 as a multiplication problem, then it equals 864.
If you want to simplify 36x24 ( like a ratio, I guess), then it becomes 18x12, 9x6, and 3x2.

I disagree with the last sentence because a ratio is denoted by ":" or "/", not "x".

Depending on the size, a 36x24 in good condition would be 8-$1200. Usually framed.
I have a painting of a mountain scene by Nooyer. It's 24 x 31 I believe. I don't know anything about it other than it was in my Mothers living room as long as I can remember. It has a typed biography on the back, but is so faded it's hard to make out.
1. Multiply the length in inches times the width in inches, which will give you the number of cubic inches in the room. 2. Divide that anser by 144, which will give you the number of square feet in the room. 3. Example: room is 36 inches long and 24 inches wide. Multiply 36X24 = 864 cubic inches. 864 divided by 144 = 6 cubic feet.
