they both help move objects by moving things because a inclined plane move things by sending things upward and a lever helps move things up because in my science class my science teacher had a long brick and she asked people could they lift her up at one side of the brick and one of us did and it was very cool. so that is my answer to the question.

How can an inclined plane help move object?

Inclined planes have gravity to help them if the object is to be moved down the plane. If they are flat planks on inclined planes, they could be used with fulcrums to move them (like a "teeter totter") That's how they built the pyramids. Billy-carts roll down an incline plane

What machine belong to the inclined family?

Machines in the inclined family include inclined planes, wedge, screw, and roller. These machines use an inclined surface to help reduce the force needed to move an object.

How can force be reduced?

Force can be reduced by decreasing the mass of an object or by decreasing the acceleration of the object. This can be achieved by using mechanisms such as pulleys, levers, or inclined planes to distribute or offset the force. Additionally, reducing the friction between surfaces in contact can also help reduce the force required.

Was the Hanging Gardens of Babylon made by hand?

Yes. There were no machines that could help to automate construction much more than simple machines like pulleys, levers, and inclined planes.

What kind of simple machine is a ramp?

inclined plainA ramp is an example of an inclined plane(:A ramp is an inclined planeincline planeA ramp belongs under the simple machine category of inclined planes. Inclined planes are sloping or slanting in figure which allows less effort to be exerted or applied, making work easier. The ramp has one end raised up to help raise an object, rather pushing a certain object than lifting it. Other examples of inclined planes other than the ramp are the stairs. When two inclined planes are put back to back, another simple machine called the wedge.

A device with few if any moving parts that makes it easier to do work is a?

A simple machine. Examples include levers, pulleys, and inclined planes, which can help reduce the amount of force needed to perform a task.

What are some examples of incline planes?

Some examples of inclined planes are kicker ramps used in skateboarding. Another example of an inclined plane is an angled driveway. The sides of a pyramid make inclined planes.

What do you trade to get force to help you lift things with inclined planes?

time and distance.

How are inclined planes different from screws?

Inclined planes are flat surfaces that are angled to help lift objects with less force, while screws are inclined planes wrapped around a cylinder. The primary difference is that screws also have threads that allow them to fasten objects together by rotating into a material.

What type of a simple machine is a marble?

A marble would not typically be considered a simple machine. Simple machines are physical devices that help make work easier, such as levers, pulleys, or inclined planes. A marble is more commonly used as a toy or for decorative purposes.

Is a wooden block a simple machine?

A wooden block itself is not considered a simple machine. Simple machines are devices that help to make work easier by multiplying or changing the direction of a force. Examples of simple machines include inclined planes, levers, pulleys, and screws.
