they both help move objects by moving things because a inclined plane move things by sending things upward and a lever helps move things up because in my science class my science teacher had a long brick and she asked people could they lift her up at one side of the brick and one of us did and it was very cool. so that is my answer to the question.

How can an inclined plane help move object?

Inclined planes have gravity to help them if the object is to be moved down the plane. If they are flat planks on inclined planes, they could be used with fulcrums to move them (like a "teeter totter") That's how they built the pyramids. Billy-carts roll down an incline plane

Was the Hanging Gardens of Babylon made by hand?

Yes. There were no machines that could help to automate construction much more than simple machines like pulleys, levers, and inclined planes.

What kind of simple machine is a ramp?

inclined plainA ramp is an example of an inclined plane(:A ramp is an inclined planeincline planeA ramp belongs under the simple machine category of inclined planes. Inclined planes are sloping or slanting in figure which allows less effort to be exerted or applied, making work easier. The ramp has one end raised up to help raise an object, rather pushing a certain object than lifting it. Other examples of inclined planes other than the ramp are the stairs. When two inclined planes are put back to back, another simple machine called the wedge.

What are some examples of incline planes?

Some examples of inclined planes are kicker ramps used in skateboarding. Another example of an inclined plane is an angled driveway. The sides of a pyramid make inclined planes.

What do you trade to get force to help you lift things with inclined planes?

time and distance.

3 examples of an inclined plane?

Inclined planes are usually used for making work easier. They are used as loading ramps on trucks, as a away to help people in wheelchairs have the access they need, and they are used as slides, for fun.

How is a screw related to an inclined plane?

On a screw, the threads are basically inclined planes, but facing down to help guide the screw into the wood. Using the inclined plane on the threads increases the time it takes rather than a nail, but it takes less energy to do it.

How can an inclined plane help you safely lower a heavy object?

Inclined plane are just fancy words for a ramp. By using an inclined plane you could slide the heavy object down it or you could carry it down it instead of having to use steps or lift it from a decent height, thus lowering the risk of injury.

Is a claw hammer a lever?

Yep! I am not sure what class but it is! Levers help lift heavy objects. Levers work by the farther you are from the fulcrum or pivot as compared to the heavy objects, the lesser the force you will need to lift or pull the object.

What is the difference between an inclined plane and a wedge?

There is a difference between both of them. The inclined plane can help move an object up or down. A wedge can help to cut or split things apart. They look very similar but are used for different things.

Examples of household inclined planes?

A doorstop is a common example. Because the wedge is a kind of inclined plane, any wedge will work as well. Here's a clever wedge. A general zipper has three wedges. One to unzip the object (jacket, etc.), and two to help zip something up.Yes...for example, a ladder or the windshield to your vehicle. Also, your stairs are an example! If you have kids and have a little playground in your backyard or just swings and a slide, a slide is an example of an inclined plane! Hope that helps!
