taking the fraction '1/4'

We write

4)1.0000( = 0.25

We say ' four divided into one doesn't do [ zero in the answer.

Four in to 10 (1.0) goes '2' remainder '2'

Then again four into 20 (0.20) goes '5' and no remainder.

Hence 1/4 = 0.25

Inversely convert an decimal to a fraction

0.75 becomes 0.75 / 1.00

Cancel down the decimal point to

75/100

Hope that helps!!!!

Cancel down by '5'

15/20 Cancel down by '5' again
