Step 1:-32 to the right by adding 32 to each side.

-32+32-4x=32

-4x=32

Step 2: An unknown factor can never be a negative. So you have to invert the equation.

-4x=32 becomes 4x=-32

Step 3: The unknown factor not only has to be a positive but also should be alone. so divided each side by 4.

4x/4=-32/4

Answer: x=-4 (negative 4)
