Math is used in cooking by using a certain amount of teaspoons, cups,and tablespoons. Like 1 teaspoon of vanilla would be used in cookie dough or something like that, 6 cups of flour for bread, depends on what kind of bread you make, and 3 tablespoons for something else

You also use math to multiply or divide the ingredients to make the recipe either larger or smaller. Fractions are used in the measurements, such as 2/3 of a cup or 1/4 of a teaspoonful.
