According to Google you can convert square meters to square feet with this formula:

ft² = m² * 10.764

Since we have 2.2 square meters we just plug that into the equation:

ft² = 2.2 * 10.764 = 23.6808

The answer is 23.6808 square feet.

If there are three feet in a meter, then 3(2.2) x 3(2.2) feet = 6.6 x 6.6 feet = 43.56 square feet.
