The number of stories in a building can vary depending on the height of each story. On average, a story in a commercial building is around 10 feet high, while in a residential building it could be around 8 feet high. Therefore, in 800 feet, there could be approximately 80 stories in a commercial building and 100 stories in a residential building.

It just really depends on how high ceilings are of the building. Let's say 10 ft. 800 stories would be about 80 ft.
