It's 90 joules IF the force is in exactly the same direction that the object moves.

If the force is in a slightly different direction ... like when you push a lawn mower ...

then the work is less, because only a part of the 30N moves along the 3M .

90, remember that the formula for work is Force times distance which in this case is 30 x 3 and yea there is 90

Work is done when?

work= force × distance so if an object moves 4metres, and the force to move it is 2N, (Newtons) the work done would be 4 × 2 = 8Joules (Work is measured in Joules) In other words, work is done when an object moves a certain distance when a certain amount of force is applied to it.

i dont no

-True or false work is force applied over a distance?

Work = Force times displacement The work done on an object is equal to the Force (push/pull) on the object in Newtons times the distance (in meters) that the object moves. If you push or pull on an object and it does NOT move (zero displacement), then no work is done on the object.
