i think, therefore i am. someone smart said that. someone unlike me. maybe its like the matrix, and thinking is all we do. maybe it is real and there is no way to prove it. either way, narrow minded people will never understand this question. so asking your math teacher will probably result in a math teacher who thinks you are stupid. am i a figment of my own imagination. am i real? AM I REAL? AM I REAL?!!! AM I? i would suggest you watch the imaginationland trilogy of southpark. if you haven't allready. but you will likely never find proof of your own existence or proof that you don't exist. but that doesn't mean you can't try.

The quote from above was by Descartes who said " I think, therefore I am. I am therefore I am real." So, this get this right. He was a French philosopher who wondered about the reality of life. He decided that if you denied all things and then started with the "self" then you could build to if life was real or not.
