400 meters in 20 secs 1.6km in 80 secs, or 1 mile in 80 seconds. This is somewhere around 50-53 mph.

400m/20s reducing it gives us,

= 20m/1s to convert to km/h we do,

203600/11000 we did 20*3600 because with time distnace will increase and 3600 seconds makes an hour 3600/1000=3.6,

so we basically do 20*3.6 we get,= 72kmph

If the car travels 400m in 20sec, the it is moving with a speed of 400m/20sec i.e, 20m/sec.

Distance= 400m

Time = 20s

Speed= ?

S=D/t

S=400/20

=40/2

=20

Therefore the Speed of the car is 20m/s.

(twenty meters per second).

As speed = distance / time

400 divided 20 = 20 ms-1

If a car travels 400m in 20 seconds how fast is it going?

400m in 20s by using the formula: average speed = distance traveled / elapsed time = 400m/20s = 20m/s.

Distance = 400 m, Time = 20 s

We know, Speed = Distance/Time

So, Speed = 400 m / 20 s

Speed = 20 m/s

So, Car is going with speed of 20 m/s

According to the question, speed = distance covered/time taken

= 400/20 = 20 m/s

Therefore, a car is going fast by 20 m/s.

Since there are 3600 seconds in an hour,

400m/20seconds can be converted into 180x400m/20x180seconds,

theoretically 72000m/hour = 72km/hour

or 20m/sec depending on the unit
