A Prime number has only 2 factors which are 1 and itself. Composite numbers are everything else except 1 and 0. 1 and 0 are neither prime, nor composite. 1000 is composite.

What are all the composite numbers from 1000 to 3000?

Composite numbers are positive integers greater than 1 that have factors other than 1 and themselves. To find all the composite numbers between 1000 and 3000, we can start by listing the prime numbers in that range: 1009, 1013, 1019, 1021, 1031, 1033, and so on. Then, we can identify the numbers that are not prime, which are composite. This process would yield a list of composite numbers between 1000 and 3000.

Is 1000 a prime number or a composite number?

A prime number is a number with two and only two factors: 1 (also known as unity) and itself. A composite number is a number with more than two factors; in other words, it has at least one factor besides 1 and itself. 1000 has factors other than 1 and itself, so it is not a prime number. For example, it is divisible by 10 because it ends with a 0. Therefore, 1000 is a composite number.
