'7' is an ODD Prime number.

NB

All even numbers end in 0,2,4,6,8, '7' does NOT end in any of these numbers, therefore it is NOT an even number.

'7' is a PRIME Number because there are no number that can be multplied together to answer to '7'.

Being a Prime Number it is NOT a compound number. Compound numbers are those that are the product of the multiplication of two smaller numbers. e.g. 2 x 3 = 6 ( '6' is compound).

The first few prime numbers , up '20' are;- 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,& 19 .

NB All prime numbers except '2' are ODD numbers. Prime numbers , like all numbers, go to inifinity.

Any number, however large, that ends in an EVEN Number, or ,5, is NOT a prime number.

e.g. 1,000,002 is NOT a prime

e.g. 1,00,000,005 is NOT a prime.

et seq.,
