I don't think there's one high school student out of 100 who could skip a semester of math
and go on to succeed in further topics.
The only possible fighting chance that such a student might have would come as the result of
studying the skipped material on his own ... putting much more time, effort, sweat, and grief
into it than if he had simply taken that semester's worth in school.
I sailed through every math course I ever took, and almost60 years later, I can still use a lot of it.
But my humble opinion is still: Don't do it.
