A 3-D shape that has 8 faces is a hexagonal prism. This is a shape that is formed on a hexagon-shaped base.
The given net shows a hexagonal prism, which is a three-dimensional shape with two hexagonal faces and six rectangular faces connecting them. The hexagonal faces are the bases of the prism, while the rectangular faces are the lateral faces. When the net is folded along the edges and assembled, it forms a hexagonal prism with a regular hexagon as its base and top.
A hexagonal prism also has 6 faces and 10 edges. It is a prism that has a hexagonal base and two parallel congruent hexagonal faces.
A 3D shape with one base and three faces can only have triangular faces.
A hexagonal pyramid.
A pyramid but it can have a base that is different and also a triangle
a square pyramid
most likely a triangular prism
the answer is that, if you look at the base and count the edges that's how much more faces there would be on the pyramid. Example, if i have a hexagonal - based pyramid, a hexagon has 6 sides so the faces in the middle of the solid are six also so a hexagonal-based pyramid will have 12 faces. :)
