What is 60 years of a century in decimal form?

60 years of a century in decimal form would be 0.60 of a century.

Which is bigger 6 decades or 1 century?

1 century- because a century is 100 years, and a decade is 10 years.... If you had 6 decades, you would have 60 years and that is less than a century :)

Why do the numbers not match the first numbers in the years?

You are referring to centuries. If you think about it, for any century we are in works from 1 to 100 years, with the last year being the number of that century. So 1 to 100 would have been the first century or first set of 100 years, 101 to 200 would be the second century and so on. We are now in the 21st century, the 21st set of 100 years, which is from 2001 to 2100. In 2100, 21 sets of 100 years will have been completed, so we are now during the 21st century even though all but the last year of it will start with '20'.You are referring to centuries. Why is the century 100 years ahead of the actual year?

Because if the Century and the years were the same, I.E. the 19th Century was the year 1901 to 2000, then by default the 1st Century would have to be the years 101 to 200. If that were the case, then what would the year 1 to 100 be called, the Zero century?

What century was 0-100 years?

No such century existed, as there was no year zero. The century you are probably thinking of ran from 1 to 100. It was the first century AD. Even if there was a year zero, then that would have been an extra year, so it would be 101 years and so it would not be a century.
