The x/7 series is very easy to remember.
1/7 = .142857
2/7 = .285714
3/7 = .428571
4/7 = .571428
5/7 = .714285
6/7 = .857142
Do you see that each decimal equivalent uses the same six digits in the same order, just starting with a different number each time? This is what makes it so easy to memorize.
13 / 70 = (13/7)/10 = (1+6/7)/10 = (1 + .857142) / 10 = 1.857142 / 10 = .1857142 ■
70 ÷ 13 is read as "70 divided by 13"........____13 | 70 is read as "13 divided into 70"They are different ways of expressing the same calculation, ie "70 divided by 13" is the same as "13 divided into 70". I guess you are referring to the second, so 13 goes outside the "bus stop".
13
13 over 70 is already in simplest form, 13 is a prime number (can't be divided into a integers beside 1 and 13).
