Simple answer, No. Laptops in general are made to hold a specific video card model (unlike desktops). There are, however, higher-end gaming laptops that do provide a facility to change and upgrade the video card. But judging by the fact that your laptop came with an 8400M GS, It's highly unlikely that you can change it. Still, ask your manufacturer (Acer) and they'll give you the most definitive answer.
