Slope intercept form : Y = mx + b
If you have 3x - y = 4 and you want slope intercept form, follow these steps :
1. Add y to each side.
3x - y + y = 4 + y
2. Subtract 4 from each side.
3x - 4 = y
Look right? Yep and you can just flip the equation to make it look like the top; they are now the same.
y = 3x - 4
-3
7x = -3y + 12
-8
It is: y = x-1
y = mx + b <-- (Slope Intercept equation) y = 4x - 1 <-- (Slope Intercept form)

-3
== == y = -x + 5
69
7x = -3y + 12
It is in slope intercept form. The slope is 0 and the y-intercept is -2.
y=-x+8
-8
It is: y = x-1
It is not an equation because it doesn't have an equal sign in it so to write it in slope-intercept form is impossible
Slope-Intercept Form: y = -2x +1
y = 16X - 80
