2D and 3D refer to the actual dimensions in a computer's workspace. 2D is 'flat', using the X & Y (horizontal and vertical) axis', the image has only two dimensions and if turned to the side becomes a line. 3D adds the 'Z' dimension. This third dimension allows for rotation and depth. It's essentially the difference between a painting and a sculpture.
2D is a flat object like a square while 3D is a volume with 3 dimensions like a cube.
2D just lines and goes left, right, up, and down. 3D shows a real-life position and it goes left, right, up, down, horizontal, go 90 degrees, and much, much more!
the d in 3d stands for dimensions. On a 2d TV you only have 2 dimensions but on a 3d TV you have 3 dimensions (length, height and depth)
I don't think the Egyptian art is 2d. It seems 2d but its actually more 3d! I know this maybe hard to believe but try looking at the art as if its 3d and it has a vanishing point. Then you may see what I'm talking about, its pretty deep. being under the influence helps to prove this point and I'm trying not to encourage this but I'm being real. I'm wondering now why is there art 3d. Mushrooms or LSD will prove this point. I'm not trying to promote drug use though, check out the movie wonderwall and watch the beginning and they prove my point exactly.
The difference between a shogun and a samurai is like the difference between a king and a knight.
there is no difference between this two...
A question about "the difference between" requires two objects!
