The Greatest Common Factor (GCF) of 36 and 93 is 3. It's not 12 because 93 is odd. it's not 6 because 6 isn't a factor in 93 at all. It has to be 3.

The GCF is 3. Since 3 is a factor of 93, it is automatically the GCF.
