In order to have a common factor, you need at least two numbers to have something in common. 5 is a Prime number (its factors are 1 and 5). So GCF of 5 and another number will be 1, unless the other number is a multiple of 5. You need at least two numbers to find a GCF.

It is not possible to give a sensible answer to this question. The greatest common factor (GCF) refers to a factor that is COMMON to two or more numbers. You have only one number in the question!
