If you really want the "least", then you only get one of them. If I gave you two

different "leasts", then you'd immediately want to know which 'least' is smaller

than the other 'least'.

The factors of 24 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24.

The factors of 52 are 1, 2, 4, 13, 26, and 52.

The common factors of 24 and 52 are 1, 2, and 4.

Their greatest common factor is 4 .

Their least common factor is 1 .

In fact, the least common factor of any group of whole numbers is ' 1 '.
